Jumeirah Lake Towers spreads across 200 hectares of master-planned freehold land on Sheikh Zayed Road, directly opposite Dubai Marina. DMCC built it around man-made lakes, a lakeside promenade, landscaped parks and a central park, then lettered its 26 clusters from A to Z. Residential towers stand alongside a heavy concentration of commercial ones and the DMCC free zone itself, giving the community a dual living-and-working identity. Young professionals, couples, small families and long-settled expatriates share the pavements, and the district is among Dubai's more pet-friendly, with marked walking paths and pet services.
Everyday needs are covered within the clusters, from supermarkets and mini-malls to multicultural restaurants with lake-view terraces. Clinics include Life Medical Center DMCC in Cluster J, American Medical Center and Aster Clinic in Cluster F. Nearby hospitals handle more extensive care. JLT has no schools, but Dubai British School Jumeirah Park, Emirates International School and GEMS Wellington International School are a short drive away. Downtown Dubai and DIFC are about 15 minutes by car, Palm Jumeirah 12 minutes, Dubai International Airport 22 minutes and Al Maktoum International Airport about 30 minutes.
